Health Part 1

I just wanted to begin by thanking you for taking the time to read my blog. I'm going to cover a number of topics. I chose to name my site after these topics because I care most about them in my life. I have advice, critiques on products and tips on each.

Health.

Good health should be your primary goal in life. Without good health no one can enjoy anything else they've acheived. What good is money or material items without a long refreshing, exciting life to experience them? Good health is to be cherished and applauded. Good health can be defined various ways, but essentially the absence of disease and stress. In my quest for good health I began with making a resolution to eat healthier. By that, I mean organically. I can hear the moans now about cost and abundance in the local grocer. (Cost and variety will always be better if you can locate a community grocery or a organic store in your area rather looking for organic goods at your local grocery store.) Best yet is a Community Supported Agriculture group which usually delivers if not drops off your shares of their produce locally. For a perspective on organic prices, consider this example: anyone can go to Walmart and buy a 1 of 3 brands of baseballs within their sports sections. The prices are only going to vary between these 3 choices. However, in Modell's, a sporting goods store, they might be choosing between 30 baseballs which causes prices to vary, drastically. If you want a good price on organic food, go where that's all they sell. Don't consider how far away it is because they may even deliver it to you!

But eating organic is important.

Why? Because what you put in your body is what you get out! Hormone ridden, antibiotic flavored, or bound animal meat is horrible to be putting in and it leaves cancer, aches and pains, arthritis, and cogestion behind in its wake! Why not try cage free chicken and eggs? Why not try antibiotic free and hormone free duck, lamb, goat, or beef? Why not try UN-homogenized and UN-pasterized milk (cows' milk, rice milk, or almond milk)? Be sure to write in for recipes and suggestions.

Exercise.

Each person has their own limitations but I have included some things everyone can enjoy. For those who need little to no impact or if you're just lazy, I suggest Body Flex+. Body Flex+ is a group of stretching and breathing exercises that trim inches off in days! It works so well, I was surprised! You can do them seated or standing but for no impact of course seated is ideal. If you are doing them correctly, quite honestly, you'll enjoy hours of ridicule from your family members.

Don't laugh, this is a WIP (work in progress) so I'll be back soon to update. Link to this site by selecting the Posts button in the Left margin.
