Now, if one is trying to reduce their weight, as I am, reading this is fundamental as well as having a medical background, as I do. Dieting and starving the body are the worst things you can do. So find a diet program like Quick Weight Loss, Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers because I'm not a nutritionist but I do know a few things. The key is to consume better foods that give you enough energy and stamina to burn off each day without storing them for later.
Water
When I arise, in the mid-morning (yes, one of the perks of owning my own businesses) I first activate my metabolism by having an 8oz glass of alkaline water. This wakens the metabolism and kicks it on- preparing it to start catabolizing the incoming foods. I discovered this from a fellow health nut. So when we wake up, the key point here is to, start drinking water immediately upon arising. But don't eat yet, there are some key things you can do to get the most out of your routine.
Seated Breathing Exercise
Next to really get your body ready for the day, stretching and moving should be your next task. I am a firm believer in the theory of whatever your stomach has in it at the time of exercise, that's what it's working off. So exercising on an empty stomach is the best way to optimize your workout. In this case, I incorporate a weight bearing exercise group like Body Flex+ into my daily routine. Once you get past looking and sounding crazy, with minor dizziness as your body adjusts to the absence of oxygen, you will have energy, strength and stamina. It can be done by anyone in any age range or physical activity level. Even quadriplegic readers can do this.
Eggs and Protein Shakes/Smoothies
Whatever you do or eat after this will be burned first as fuel for your upcoming day. I usually think about breakfast immediately even if I don't prepare it. Protein in the morning is the ideal way to have energy throughout the day. Cage free, anti-biotic free, hormone-free eggs and chicken are only being mentioned here since they are the only options to consider for eggs and poultry. 2-3 eggs hard boiled or scrambled will do fine with a protein shake.
This ingredients of the protein shake are so important that I will describe what I've been creating each morning. Well, I start with 200-300ml rice/almond milk as measured on my shake maker which is surprisingly ample to blend my frozen green leafy veggies, 2 types of berries (raspberries and blueberries usually), Spirolina, ground flaxseeds, yogurt, Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar, liquid Probiotics, and green/chamomile tea.
These ingredients will fill you up as well as be a welcome supplement to your diet. So far in our routine, we've drunk 8oz of water, done some breathing exercises with weights, made hard boiled eggs and created a filling smoothie or protein shake. Now, I usually take my food out on the patio with my pool behind me because I'm ready to start my day in the fresh air by blogging.
Blogging
The process of blogging seems daunting and possibly painful at first. The easiest way to tackle it, is to be consistent and write about what you enjoy. If you have any business, online or local, it will draw people from everywhere to respond to you and your opinions. Blogging about your ideas will entice readers to buy your products or services. There is a way, however, to get people addicted to buying from you. If you can follow 3 simple steps, a highly effective filtering process will occur. This will not only give you an extra passive income but supply a steady stream of people interested in what you have to offer! The tire kickers, and naysayers filter out so you never make contact with them. As long as you are able to follow instructions and are determined to stick with it for 100 days, you are guaranteed success both in earning extra income and blowing up your existing business. At the end of this process, you end up with people who are dying to join your business and/or buy from you. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them below.
